We met in Miami Beach at the American Associates of Otolaryngology trade show—because where else do great love stories begin, right? On the last night, our team headed to a Miami Dolphins vs. Tennessee Titans game. Somewhere between leaving early to beat the traffic and getting completely lost in the stadium, we ended up in a Sonic parking lot, trying to find our Uber for over an hour. We didn’t mind one bit.

The next weekend, Zach texted saying he wanted to visit Fort Lauderdale.
 
He came down for three days in mid-October, and those were some of the most magical, fun days we’ve ever had. We drove around to sales calls, worked out together, and soaked up the sun on the beach. Simple, spontaneous, and full of laughs—it just clicked. From that weekend on, things unfolded naturally. What started with a chance meeting and a wrong turn has turned into our favorite journey yet.
 
After Zach's first trip to Fort Lauderdale, we quickly became best friends and spent hours on FaceTime every day. Zach flew down to Florida on the weekends every chance he got and soon afterward we spent the sweetest Christmas together in Minnesota. In early February, Zach moved down to Florida and three weeks later we were engaged. Every moment together has been the greatest blessing and we cannot wait to spend forever together.
